Marrow Run Community Fund

The fund created by the community benefit agreement between Marrow Run Township, Pennsylvania and Ridgeline Data Campus. Held by the regional community foundation. Priorities set by a council of residents. Every dollar in, every grant out, every reading, every commitment, posted here as it happens.

Grants by priority

Priorities were set by the advisory council from the needs assessment published in March 2025. Water came first because the township asked for it first.

Noise at the property line

Monthly nighttime readings at the nearest homes on Quarry Road. The agreement's limit is 50 dBA at night. Readings are taken by the township's contractor, not the operator's.

Measured, dBAAgreement limit

Water drawn, gallons a day

Monthly average from the water authority's meter. Closed-loop cooling; the cap in the agreement is 20,000 gallons a day. The previous occupant of the site drew about 90,000.

Backup generator hours

Hours run each quarter, against the 120-hour annual cap in the agreement. All hours to date are scheduled daytime testing. The agreement does not yet prohibit running the generators for demand response; the council has asked for that condition at permit renewal.

Load ramp: contracted and energized

What the utility agreement says will be delivered by year, and what is actually drawing power. The contribution is calculated on the energized figure. Full build-out is 240 MW in 2028.

Fund statement, from the foundation

Reproduced from the regional community foundation's quarterly statement for the restricted fund. The foundation holds and disburses; neither the operator nor Baseload Commons touches the money.

Every grant

Recommended by the advisory council, confirmed by the foundation as within the fund rules, and paid to the named organization. Nothing is granted to individuals or to the operator.

Documents and checks

Everything a resident, a supervisor, or a reporter would need to check any figure on this page.

Independent assessment. Assessment under the Compute Stewardship Standard is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027, once the program has eight quarters of published record. The scorecard will be linked here and at computestewardship.com/scorecards. Until then, nothing on this page is certified; it is reported.

This dashboard is a worked example published by Baseload Commons to show the format a real program publishes. Marrow Run Township, Ridgeline Data Campus, the regional community foundation, and all figures are fictional. In a real program the dashboard is funded in the build fee and stays online, with its full history, for the operating life of the facility and through decommissioning, whether or not Baseload Commons remains engaged.
